I went to the AG show in February to look at their special on their 1025r. What they offered was the lawn tractor the dump bucket and a 60 inch drive over Auto attach mower. I went to Sydenstricker to purchase said implement. Ben was the salesman who helped me through the process. This was the end of April that I made this transaction. I was told that they were sold out which I understood and that there may not be any available until the end of May. Since I did not have a mower I asked them for one of their used mowers to use until mine came in. Ben explained he had to clear that request with his manager, . Ben came back telling me that I couldn't get a loaner mower. I thought about it a couple of days then decided that it was extremely bad business and decided to talk to manager, Terry Reynolds. I called and explained the situation to Terry Reynolds that spending $19040.00, and I couldnt get a loaner until mine came in? He told me he couldn't loan out his used mowers due to the fact they can't be sold if they were loaned out. Well the more I thought about it the more aggravated I got. Still needing a mower and my grass being knee length I contacted Sinclair implement in Centerville Iowa. The salesman I talked to was named Travis and I told him what I wanted and he asked me names and numbers which I took from the purchase order that I had gotten from Sydenstricker. He informed me that the mower Sydenstricker had gotten for me was not a drive over auto connect it was a manual and the tiller I requested was not wide enough to till behind the tractor tires. To me a Salesman should have known that at Sydenstricker I felt I was taken advantage of extremely at Sydenstricker they were not sensitive to my needs and their customer service sucked. I abruptly cancelled my purchase order at Sydenstricker and went with Sinclair at Centerville Iowa which I got a better price on the tractor with the correct implements of the drive over mower deck and a tiller that would till behind and cover the tires. Plus I got the package at a $40 discount and also in the transaction I found out that they're filing and origination fees were $200 less then it was at Sydenstricker. Needless to say I felt as if I was being taken advantage of at Sydenstricker and I do not recommend them at all. My advice is check around before you buy don't trust the first place you go to thinking they will be fair to you. Sinclair also offered to bring me a mower until they could get mine down on Friday which was only three days which I thank them kindly but told him not to make the extra trip I would just wait till Friday. Hopefully this review will get Sydenstricker to shape up and treat their customers fairly and not take advantage of them and giving a customer who spent over $19,000 a loner mower for a couple of weeks I would think is a small price to pay for good customer service.

I just wanted to say Thank you again to Ben Fraser of the Kirksville Sydensticker. Ben went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I was running equipment in the Chillicothe area when I got stuck. He made a few calls and found local farmer that took time out of his day and pulled me out. Then right at 5 when I was leaving I had a flat tire I called Ben one more time he was able to help me find a company that would come out and work on the tire. Ben really was a great help I don't know what I would have done with out his help. It just pays to purchase equipment for people that you know and can TRUST.
